Isabelle Yamamoto | Pochette | Cacao Brown 01

French artist Isabelle Yamamoto, based in Brussels, Belgium, creates cushions and other home textiles using vintage fabrics she finds during her travels. She re-dyes European textiles from the early 20th century and draws inspiration from boro, the Japanese tradition of mended and repurposed cloth.

This pochette is one such piece—hand-stitched with sashiko embroidery by the artist herself.
