Meditative incense
Taiwanese artist Kairyu has long collected and studied antiques, creating works that explore the spirituality and spirit embodied in objects.
Rimpei Watanabe
A jar by Rimppei Watanabe, who creates his works in Osaka and fires them in his anagama (wood-fired kiln) in Bizen, Okayama.
Using raw clay dug from the mountains of Bizen and fired in a traditional anagama kiln, this piece features a rounded form inspired by primitive shapes. The white slip (kohiki) finish gives it a soft presence, making it suitable as a flower vessel or as a sculptural element in both Japanese and Western minimalist interiors. Each piece is one of a kind.
Alexandra Yan Wong
Her work explores the interaction between abstract visuals and personal inner states, drawing inspiration from the shapes and tones found in everyday surroundings. These impressions are translated onto the canvas through memory and emotion.
With a background in German literature and philosophy, the core of her practice lies in bringing the inner world into external reality—bridging the outer everyday with inner experience.
