Atsushi Ogata | Tea Cup White

This dish is characterized by a sharkskin-like crackle glaze due to the difference in shrinkage between the clay and glaze. We use these hibi-white plates at home and go well with both Japanese and Western cuisine.

1996 - After working as a magazine editor, graduated from Aichi Prefectural College of Ceramic Technology
1998 - Started his own studio in Seto, Aichi
2007 - Moved his studio to Uda, Nara
2009 - Built a climbing kiln
