Whirlflow | Stone Circle

 Whirlflow(Kairyu), a Taiwanese artist, has spent many years collecting and exploring antiques, creating works that delve into the spirituality and essence embodied in objects.

Cutting wood, gathering earth, refining copper, and crafting tools—humans have transformed natural materials into tools for daily life. Over time, these objects have drifted through history, shifting purposes and scattering across different corners of the world. Through collecting ancient artifacts, Kairyu discovered that the profound impressions and inspirations arise not only from their forms, colors, and textures but also from the subtle, indescribable presence that lies within.

This particular work aims to infuse Kairyu’s reflections and emotions about these objects into their deepest essence, expressed through a serene and understated sculptural form that invites repeated contemplation.
